Not necessarily. Strategy is an important part of how we approach brand identity, but the process can be shaped around where you are and what you already have. If your positioning and direction are clear, we can work from there. If they need more definition, we can build that into the project before moving into design.
Absolutely. Not every brand needs to start from scratch. We can look at what’s already working, identify where things feel unclear or inconsistent, and determine what needs to be refined, developed or brought into focus. We offer brand audits and refreshes tailored to your needs. Whether your brand feels dated, inconsistent or simply needs a more considered direction, we’ll review your visual identity, messaging and online presence, then provide clear, practical recommendations for refining and strengthening the brand.
That's completely fine. You don't need to arrive with a finished vision. The first conversation is an opportunity to talk through what you're building, what's working, what's not and what you're hoping to achieve. From there, we can work out the right direction together.
Most brand identity projects take approximately 4–6 weeks, depending on the scope of the project, feedback and revisions. Larger or more involved projects may take longer. Your timeline will be outlined in your proposal before we begin.
Yes. Verte Studio is based in Cape Town, South Africa, and works with clients worldwide. Projects can be managed remotely through calls, email and shared online workspaces.
Brand identity projects are developed as complete visual systems rather than as a standalone logo wherever possible. This allows us to create something cohesive and useful across the different places your brand needs to show up. If you have a specific design need, you're welcome to enquire and we can discuss what makes sense.
Yes. Website design can be incorporated into a wider branding project or approached as a standalone project when the brand foundations are already in place. Websites are designed for platforms including Wix Studio, Squarespace and Shopify.
The best place to begin is with a discovery call. We'll talk through what you're building, where you are currently, what you need help with and what the next step could look like. If you're not ready for a call, you can also send an enquiry with a little more information about your project.
Yes. You don't necessarily need to know which service to book before getting in touch. We can look at where your brand is now, what you're trying to achieve and where the gaps are, then recommend an approach that makes sense for your business.
You’ll receive one carefully crafted logo concept. We focus on creating a strong, polished design rather than multiple options that might not be as refined. That’s why the strategy and brand exploration phase is such a key part of the process—it ensures your logo is aligned with your brand’s goals, audience, and personality from the start. This way, your final logo isn’t just visually appealing—it’s a thoughtful, professional representation of your brand.
Yes. Ongoing Creative Support is available through flexible monthly retainers, giving you access to design support beyond the initial project. This can include social media design, new brand applications, campaigns, website updates or other creative needs as they arise. The scope can be shaped around what you need each month.
Printing, production and other third-party costs are not included unless specifically stated in your proposal. Where required, we can recommend suppliers or assist with artwork preparation.
